Koshur Wanwun

Wathal, Phiresaal and Saetem Doh
The groom’s family throws a feast called Wathal for the bride and groom the day after to celebrate the wedding. The bride’s family is also invited. However, no wanwun is done at this event. A few days after this event is Phiresaal (home coming) when the bride goes back to her home with her husband and his family for dinner in an informal and relaxed setting. This is then followed by Saetem doh (seventh day), where the bride’s family comes to pick their daughter and take her to their home for a few days. None of these events involve any wanwun singing.
